Ice Breaking speech for CC1

As per the Competent Communicator manual (Toastmaster's bible) has a clear guidance of how to start the journey.

Let me mention some of them which may help you:
Nobody expects you to be a world-class orator. Just do your best.
  • Ask for Help
Everyone, who already started their journey, must had passes to this phase. So not hesitate. We are here for learning. So go forward....& break the ice....today is your day!!!
  • Practice Helps
We all know, practice makes thing perfect. So just do it.
  • Timing
The recommended time for the Ice Breaker speech is four to six minutes. Don't worry too much about going under or over time. Just try to complete  somewhere in that range.
  • Notes
There are no rules on the use of notes. If you need notes, use them.Don't worry, no one is here to pin point you. After all the story is yours & no one know the story.
  • Don’t Expect to be Winston Churchill
This is your first challenge. Nobody expects you to be a world-class orator. Just do your best.
  • Apologizing
You may feel an urge to apologize or thankful. There is no need to do so!
